STV’s Fort Worth, TX, team recently celebrated National Cleanup Day by participating in a community cleanup initiative organized by North Texas’s primary water district.

STV employees joined with the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) for its Fall Trash Bash for an organized cleanup of the Trinity Trails, a mixed-use trail system that runs alongside the Trinity River and its tributaries.

“It’s always great for us to give back to the community, especially when it’s right in our backyard,” said Andrea Klocinski, P.E., an engineer who helped organize STV’s participation in the event. “You can even see STV’s Fort Worth office in the background of the photos we took during the Trash Bash.”

TRWD’s Trash Bash is an annual event that engages with North Texas communities within the district to promote organized cleanups of waterways serving the area. For more than 30 years, thousands of community members have collectively removed over 500 tons of garbage as part of this initiative.

STV’s water team has previously partnered with TRWD as part of the design team for the Integrated Pipeline Project, a 15-mile, 108-inch water line that provides water for over 1.5 million people in North Texas.
