Dominick M. Servedio, P.E., STV chairman, has been elected to serve on the Civil and Urban Engineering (CUE) Department Advisory Board at the New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering.

The Tandon School’s CUE Department is considered one of the most esteemed engineering institutions in the nation. To help the CUE Department meet the ever-changing needs of the industry, the Advisory Board selects members that includes leaders in the civil engineering profession with experience in both public and private sectors; private entrepreneurs involved in urban development and technology; and current and former governmental leaders at the federal, state, and city levels.

In this capacity, Servedio will assist in the CUE Department’s strategic planning efforts and provide insights on current needs and trends within the industry. Board members are also asked to publicly advocate for the CUE Department and the Tandon School at the federal, state, city and international levels; engage with potential funding sources that will benefit the school; and set a leadership example for all students and alumni.

“The CUE Department at the Tandon School of Engineering does a tremendous amount to help grow the next generation of engineers to serve our industry,” Servedio said. “I am honored to be a part of such an esteemed institution.”
