With the Olympic Games set to kick off on February 4, the STV family is cheering on our very own Olympian in his quest for gold: Kristopher Horn, an engineering specialist in our Boston office.

Horn is a member of the 2022 U.S. Bobsled Team in the four-man event. Horn has made this transition to the bobsled after a celebrated collegiate career as a track and field athlete at the University of Massachusetts. Horn has experienced swift success bobsled participant throughout North American competitions, bringing home numerous medals, and helping him punch his ticket to Beijing.

“I’m most excited for the competition,” Horn said. “I first dreamt of the Olympics in my junior year of high school, and being named to the U.S. team is pretty satisfying.”

Aside from cheering him on as a U.S. Olympian, Horn’s STV colleagues back home share in his excitement, and will also be rooting him on over the next two weeks.

“It comes as no surprise that Kris will be a part of Team USA,” said engineer Liam McHale. “Underneath his quiet demeanor lies a fierce competitor and a really good person, and we couldn’t be happier for him. Go, Kris!”

Bobsled training heats start on February 11th, with official competitions pushing off on February 13th. You can also follow STV’s social media pages for updates by visiting our LinkedInTwitterFacebook and Instagram accounts.
