STV was recently awarded a Certificate of Achievement by the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA), recognizing the firm’s leadership and commitment to the successful completion of the MARC Riverside Heavy Maintenance Facility.
The client hosted a luncheon in Baltimore to honor STV’s and MTA’s project teams, highlighting the fact that the project was delivered on time and under budget. Project Manager Ryan Barth, P.E., accepted the award on behalf of STV’s project team.
“The luncheon provided a great opportunity to discuss the successes of the project and celebrate the collaboration between the design team, MDOT MTA and the Construction Management Division at MDOT MTA, who all worked together to deliver the project,” Barth said.
“The new facility offers solutions to many of MDOT MTA’s current maintenance challenges and serves as a role model for the agency’s future facilities,” said Deputy Project Manager and Lead Architect Narendra Bhushan, AIA, NCARB, CDT, LEED AP. “The achievement award demonstrates how well our design is working for the client.”
