Nov 23, 2021

Two members of STV’s construction management team were recently honored by the New York Tri-State Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) at the organization’s national conference and awards ceremony.

Steven Belletti, CCM, vice president of operations for New York’s construction management group, received the “Outstanding Work in Aviation Award,” recognizing his decades of work leading program and construction management efforts for major airport improvement projects throughout the region. Belletti is currently a key member of the joint venture providing construction management services on behalf of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey at LaGuardia Airport.

George Toma, AIA, vice president and project executive, received NAMC’s “Silent Hero Award” in honor of his work leading the construction management of several projects throughout New York City that have converted public buildings into COVID-19 testing sites and vaccination centers. As part of this work, George has supported several prominent New York City clients.

NAMC advocates for minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged businesses (MWBE/DBEs), helping them to win contracts, increase branding visibility, and expand their client bases through relationship development opportunities.
