Jermaine Huell Named Vice-Chair of Leading Industry Council

Jun 23, 2021

As our federal and state governments plan to ramp up infrastructure spending, Jermaine Huell, STV’s national supplier diversity leader, was appointed to a key leadership position for a council overseen by one of our industry’s leading professional associations.

Huell will serve as the Northeastern region vice-chair of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s (ARBTA) Industry Leader Development Council (ILDC). In this role, Huell will assist in developing ARBTA’s agenda to advocate for more efficient transportation construction industry policies, while conducting industry outreach for council meetings. He will also work to promote public awareness of local infrastructure policy impacts.

The ILDC fosters graduates of ARTBA’s Industry Leader Program, which provides a comprehensive background on the financial aspects of the transportation construction and development sector. Along with connecting its members with ARBTA directors and councils, the ILDC also works to implement grassroots initiatives and advance policies towards Congress.

“I am truly humbled, honored, and quite excited to contribute to the ILDC program,” Huell said. “As the United States looks to spend more on its infrastructure, ARTBA has the perspective and access to effectively engage legislative and regulatory policies. This role lets me responsibly promote procedures that meet travelers’ needs.”

Established in 1902, ARBTA has more than 8,000 transportation industry professionals from the public and private sectors to promote innovative national travel infrastructure strategies.
