STV’s Chief People Officer (CPO) Jacqueline Opal, an Akron, OH, resident, was recently appointed to Leadership Ohio’s Class of 2023. Through this prestigious eight-month leadership development program, Opal and 34 other Fellows will engage in intensive leadership sessions; develop Ohio Impact Projects; and build meaningful relationships with leaders and decision-makers from around the state.
“It is an honor to be chosen for the Leadership Ohio program and to join a community of leaders who are committed to driving positive change in our state,” Opal said. “STV exists to make communities better by connecting people, places and the present to the future, so I look forward to working with my fellow Leadership Ohio participants to explore new ideas and approaches to the challenges facing our state and harnessing that collective knowledge to create solutions that can empower and strengthen other communities, too. I am grateful for this opportunity and excited for the journey ahead.”
Since joining STV last September, Opal has spearheaded the development and execution of our human resource strategy in support of the firm’s Strategic Plan.
She has been an active supporter of the Ohio business community, including serving on the Team Northeast Ohio Talent Development Council, a Development Equity Council with key diversity and human resources leaders, and as a volunteer with the United Way and for other charitable causes and organizations.
