12 STV Women Honored by WBC

Representing a mix of industry veterans and early career professionals, 12 STV employees were recently honored by the Women Builders Council (WBC) as part of its 16th Annual Champion Awards.

Recipients of the Outstanding Women Award, which recognizes women who demonstrate leadership skills and set the bar for performance and excellence were:

  • Kris Horvath, LEED AP BD+C, designer, New York
  • Lisa Martusciello, P.E., ENV SP, senior engineer, New York
  • Diana Molina, P.E., project manager, New York
  • Nadine Roper, vice president, national director of marketing communications, New York
  • Glynis Vidalon, R.A., assistant project manager, architect, New York

The reception also honored seven women with a Next Generation award, which is given to early career professionals and future leaders in the industry. STV’s recipients were:

  • Grace Dong, architectural designer, New York
  • Yaquta Faquih, PMP, CCM, assistant project manager, New York
  • Valerie Jimenez, designer, New York
  • Cecelia Lee, AIA, NCARB, project manager, New York
  • Emily Melillo, designer, New York
  • Jessica Wang, P.E., assistant project manager, New York
  • Isabel Ziskind, architectural designer, New York

Established in 2004, the WBC is the leading association representing women in the construction industry. The organization provides legislative advocacy, new business and professional development, and a focus on leadership skills, for its members.
